The road to hell is paved with good intentions. And I suspect at the side of this road you will also find many turbo bikes, gas patio heaters and smoothie-makers. On the plus side, this particular model is Lidl’s finest (where I like to do much of my shopping, including rooting around in the bins for sporting gear. In reality, I have so many German outlet discount goods they should be considering a sponsorship deal…)
They’re doing them for twenty quid right now. And yes, my (own) darling children, I appreciate we are in the Euro zone, but just go with me on this one.
So, this was breakfast, with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, low-fat natural yoghurt and some carton of generic fruit juice mix. Tasty. It remains to be seen if the motor on the blender lasts ’til the race next year. It seems sturdy enough.
